FREE TRIAL APPLICATION GUIDE

How to Submit an Application Through Shein’s Free Trial Center

A straightforward explanation of the main steps, based on information published in Shein’s Free Trial Help Center, so you can better understand the process.

Independent informational guide — This article was created using publicly available information from Shein’s Free Trial Help Center. We are not affiliated with Shein. Participation depends on program eligibility and selection criteria, and approval is not guaranteed. Always review the latest official conditions before participating.

If you have visited the Free Trial section and were unsure about what to do next, understanding the sequence of the process can make things much easier.

The steps below explain how users can find products, submit requests, check application results, and provide feedback if selected. Following the program instructions does not guarantee approval, but it can help you avoid preventable mistakes.

1

Find the Free Trial Center

Sign in to your Shein account. In the app, open your profile → Other Services (or More Services) → Free Trial Center. On the desktop website, look for the Free Trial option within the community or services section.

Once inside, review the products currently listed. The available selection may change frequently, so the items shown today may be different on a future visit.

2

Submit requests for eligible products

The Free Trial program generally provides up to 3 application opportunities each week. Any unused opportunities do not carry over into the next weekly period.

When you find an item you would like to evaluate:

  • Select Free Trial on the eligible item
  • Choose the correct size, if applicable
  • Confirm that your delivery address belongs to the same country as the Shein website you are using
  • Review the information and select Submit

Important: A difference between the country in your shipping address and the regional Shein site may prevent the request from being processed. Check the details before submitting.

3

Monitor your application status

Application review may take around one week. Visit My Free Trial or My Applications to see the current status of each submitted request.

  • Approved — your request was selected. A qualifying order may then be generated at $0 and prepared for delivery.
  • Failed — the request for that particular item was not selected. You can consider other eligible products when additional opportunities become available.

4

Evaluate the item and submit your feedback

If the product is delivered to you, test it as intended and consider details such as quality, design, sizing, material, comfort, and overall construction.

After using the item, complete an honest and detailed review through your account, preferably within 10 days after delivery. The review process can be monitored under My Report.

Helpful feedback may include:

  • Balanced comments about both positive and negative aspects
  • Clear photographs showing the product and relevant details
  • Specific observations about sizing, fabric, comfort, appearance, and practical use

Points information: An accepted report may provide approximately 20 points. A qualifying Quality Report may add around 100 additional points.

If an initial review is not accepted, participants may receive one additional opportunity to edit and resubmit it.
